16歳より映画やミュージカル、Disney Worldやクルーズのショーなどに出演。
「CATS」のオリジナルプロダクションにてブロードウェイ出演を果たす(Tumblebrutus役)。

その後、舞台演出・振付・教えに専念するために、フロリダにてJohn Leggio‘s Center for the Performing Artsを設立。現在は振付師・講師としてニューヨークを拠点に活動、主にはSteps on Broadwayにてジャズ、シアタージャズのクラスを担当する。

Steps Beyond Foundationの優秀振付師の一人に選出されおり、ブロードウェイやその他の舞台を目指す次世代のダンサー育成に努めている。

John has performed in numerous shows and Broadway’s biggest musicals, national and world tours, television, Walt Disney World, Industrials and more.
He received the “Best Choreographer Award” from the Tampa Bay Times for his work at the Straz Center.
John also served as Artistic Director for the Show Palace Theatre, in Hudson, Florida, before creating his own company “John Leggio's Center for the Performing Arts”.
He is currently based in New York as a choreographer and teacher.
He was selected as one of the best choreographers of the Steps Beyond Foundation and is working to develop the next generation of dancers.
